TEAM Charter Schools is a growing network of KIPP (Knowledge is Power Program) schools in Newark, New Jersey, proving that students of all backgrounds can succeed in school. We currently serve more than 1,500 African American and Latino students from low income communities. Newark Collegiate Academy (NCA) opened in August 2007 and currently serves 430 students in grades 9-12. It will ultimately serve over 600 students, mostly matriculating from TEAM's middle schools, Rise and TEAM Academies
